ARMY RIGGING MANUAL
This reference was produced by the US Army as a technical manual for soldiers involved in rigging operations. The manual was published in 1968, and does not include information on Griphoist winches (used commonly by trail crews). The information on basic rigging techniques, knots, care of wire rope, and load calculations, though, are very good.
