Late September's cool weather allowed renegade elements of the Blue and White Crew to stage a rare weekday assault on a stream crossing in the Hannah Run watershed. Hiking up from lower Nicholson Hollow with boulder moving paraphernalia, Dan Dueweke, Mel Ellis, Charles Hillon, and Patrick Wilson turned a widely braided and bank-trampled three-tributary barrier into a stream crossing. All stream crossings on the Nicholson Hollow Trail from Nethers to Skyline Drive are now in place.
