In May, the crew returned to the AT rehab project just north of the Pocosin Road. Crew members harvested and stripped locust for waterbars, installed new drainage features, and cut new sidehill. Saturday night accommodations were at the Pinnacles Research Center. Mr. and Mrs. Dove were able to join the group for dinner and post-dining festivities. An abbreviated crew spent Sunday morning on the AT section under the Stony Man Overlook, continuing a tread rehab project that Stan Turk had begun the week before, with the help of local Scouts.
