Except for a slightly different set of volunteers, the August Crew Trip was almost identical to the trip in July. Beautiful weather persisted throughout the weekend, while the crew revisited the two projects started a month earlier: the stream crossing on the Thornton River, and the AT rehab just north of the Bearfence Bear Scramble.
Evening festivities included a cookout at the Pinnacles Research Center. Grillmen Fran, Charles and Chris served up a triple threat of chicken, burgers and dogs, which was complimented by numerous trays of deviled eggs from Janet and Sissy, Heather's Ceviche de Soya, Tara's potato salad, and Stan's Food. Pie Load a la Hebbe capped the banquet.
