2001 Rock Workshop Photos
The PATC contracted Fred Lashley to conduct an advanced rock and rigging workshop to instruct club crew leaders in these skills. The workshop was held at the Blackburn Trail Center over a long weekend in March. The project included the setup of a high-line for the transport of rocks from a "quarry" and the setup of a zip-line to move rocks from the first rigging apparatus to the staircase. Fred and Josh Adams (an ATC crew leader) instructed the group in rigging setup, safe work habits, rock shaping, step construction, and winch maintenance.
